eSailing Lockdown League Makes a Big Splash

With 3 leagues now up and running in our Spring Lockdown Virtual Regatta it was all to play for with the places at the top of the leader board being hotly contested. In League 3 Colin O’Sullivan didn’t even have to get out of bed for one of the races with 5 wins out of 6, where did he get such skills… Second place to Colin and winner of the burger box was Muge Karasahin.  In League 1 and 2 the top places were closely battled with Shane Diviney who just managed to stay ahead of Cillian Dickson. In League 2 Sam O’Byrne and Cillian McGreer ended up on the same score and there were some negotiations as to allocation of Burger Box versus bottle of Rum. Thank you to Woodfire & Green for delivering the Burger Boxes containing all the ingredients freshly prepared for serving up the most delicious burgers – in fact many of the League entrants purchased a box themselves after seeing the prize! The racing has created so much fun and excitement it is expected that there may have to be a 4th League created to facilitate new entrants next week. Congratulations to organiser Teddy Byrne on all his hard work in getting this League set up and running. Thank you also to Emmet Dalton and Ryan Sinnott for managing Leagues 2 & 3.
