Trinity College’s fleet of 6 Firefly dinghies will be coming to Howth Yacht Club to introduce our junior members to the fun and skill of team racing. Luke Malcolm has spent a number of weeks refurbishing the boats and they will be arriving in the Club on Friday 17th June.

Gleb Romantchik, who hails from Goleen in West Cork and learnt to team race with David Harte in Schull Community College will be the team racing coach for the Junior Training Courses which run from Monday to Friday over the next two weeks.

There are still some place available on the courses for both weeks. Participants need to have completed an Improving Skills course, but do not need any fleet racing or team racing experience to do this course. For more information please contact the office on 8322141 or [email protected]
