HYC has organised 420 Easter Coaching in association with the International 420 Class Association of Ireland. The training will take place from 10.00 to 16.30 on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th March. Despite the International name tag, this is a great coaching opportunity for all club sailors who have a 420 or who have even completed to a Kites and Wires course. The course will be led by Graeme Grant and Barry McCartin who have both have years of racing and coaching experience. They will be assisted by some experienced class graduates who will have the time to give one to one assistance with boat setup and sailing techniques.

In order to be guaranteed a place on this course, please complete and return the booking form to [email protected] by 09.00 on Monday on Monday 14th March. The training costs €50/person for two days training. Junior Members who would like to do the course, but do not own a 420, should find a friend to sail with and e-mail [email protected] to request a club or class association boat. Club boats are available for €50/boat + a damage deposit of €200.
