New Beginner Fitness Classes Now Available at HYC
 
If you’ve been thinking about becoming more active, why not consider the new beginner-focused classes onsite for members.
 
Get Fitter, Faster with Crew Class
 
Crew Class is a rowing programme focused on building full-body strength, cardiovascular fitness, and confidence in movement that takes place at the club on  Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday mornings with a new beginners class available.
 
Rowing is one of the most effective total-body workouts available. It engages up to 87% of the body’s muscles, far more than activities like running or cycling. Rowing is:
Low impact and joint-friendly
Suitable for all ages and fitness levels
Excellent for building strength, endurance, and cardiovascular fitness
It’s an efficient, sustainable way to improve strength, fitness, and resilience — whether you’re a complete beginner or already active. And yes, it’s never too late to start.

Pilates with Alexis
 
Pilates focuses on core strength and stability, improved posture and balance, increased flexibility and injury prevention and joint support. It helps build the strength and body awareness needed for everyday movement.
 
Alexis runs classes onsite on Monday & Tuesday evenings and Tuesday & Friday mornings and is also running a new beginners class for members looking to get involved.
