HYC Development Project Survey

The Department of Agriculture, Food & the Marine is undertaking a major redevelopment of Howth Harbour, which includes essential dredging works, land reclamation, and significant upgrades to marine infrastructure and public spaces—such as the creation of a new recreational green area.

This project is designed to restore safe, all-tide access, enhance facilities for marine users, improve waterfront access, and secure Howth’s future as a vibrant hub for tourism, recreation, and community life.

As part of this broader redevelopment, Howth Yacht Club will also need to rebuild and upgrade our marina, clubhouse facilities and services we offer to members and the community. We want to ensure this redevelopment reflects the needs and aspirations of everyone who uses and values Howth Harbour.
