Sailing & Racing Covid19 Guidelines & Conditions

In line with the Irish Sailing Guidelines it has been advised that it's really important to remember now, as sailing opens up further, personal responsibility and your own judgement are more important than ever.

In filling our our Daily Skipper and Crew Log, all skippers and crew hereby confirm that neither the Skipper nor any of the crew aboard for the race are either at present, or within the last 14 days, suffering from any of the following unless they have consulted a registered medical doctor and received confirmation that their symptoms relate to a disease other than COVID-19:

Cough,

Shortness of breath or breathing difficulties,

Temperature above 38oC,

Aching muscles and/or joints or other unexplained pains,

Headache,

Unexplained sweating or increased heart rate,

Loss or distortion of senses of smell or taste.

Furthermore it is confirmed that neither the Skipper nor any of the crew aboard for the race are currently diagnosed as infected with COVID-19, are awaiting the results of a test for COVID-19, are subject to a quarantine requirement or have been in contact within the last 14 days with a person diagnosed as having COVID-19.

It is further confirmed that each listed crew member has been consulted about the above details and the Skipper submission is signed on the basis of their confirmation of the health and symptom status of their boat 'pod'.
