RIP Bernadette Newport
The Commodore and Flag Officers regret to advise the members of Howth Yacht Club of the passing of Bernadette Newport.
The deepest sympathies of the General Committee, staff, and members of HYC go out to the family and friends of Bernadette in their time of grief.
Newport, Bernadette (Beno) - April 26th 2026. Sutton, Dublin 13. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in the Bon Secours Hospital, Glasnevin. Beno, beloved wife of Phil. Deeply missed by her sons Paul, Colm, Ciaran and Garrett, their partners Fiona, Fin, Siobhan & Elaine. Adored grandmother to Grace, Leah, Jack and Julie and loving great grandmother to Setanta and Oliver. Sadly missed by her sister Pauline, sister-in-law Nuala, nieces Caroline and Ines, nephews Robin, David, Piers, Barry, Gavin and Carlo, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Staffords Funeral Home on Wednesday afternoon April 29th from 2pm to 4pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of St Fintan, Sutton arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery.
