Expansion of keelboat sailing courses for teenagers

15 May 2015

Our junior sailing programme has been expanded to include keelboat sailing courses and adventure keelboat sailing. These courses are specially designed to provide teenagers with an opportunity to learn life-long skills and a fuller appreciation and enjoyment of sailing. This programme includes 'Keelboat Sailing Courses' which will provide the necessary skills to crew and sail keelboats with a group of friends and leading to "Keelboat Adventure Sailing Courses' which are designed to inspire and induce lifelong skills through enjoyment of sailing.

The Keelboat course is primarily for newcomers to keelboat sailing, and the Adventure course follows on from that.  Students can do one week at the Keelboat course level, and then do an Adventure course - putting into practice all that has been learnt in the first course!

We have suggested dates for when we would run the different courses, but if your group want to do a particular course on dates that are not currently listed- please ask as we may be able to facilitate you.

The fee is €200 per person per course, there is a 10% discount on the second course if you book two courses at the same time.  A supplement of €20 is charged for non-members per course.
