Fly Your Kite

This course is for you if you have completed the improve your sailing course and are looking to the introduction of the thrills and spills of sailing with a spinnaker. In this course you will learn the following:

  • Identify the parts of the spinnaker
  • Rig the spinnaker
  • As both helm and crew, launch, fly, gybe and recover an asymmetric spinnaker.
  • Demonstrate the appropriate course to steer when using spinnakers.
