Try Sailing
Try Sailing courses are designed to offer you a positive introduction to the joys of sailing. No experience is necessary.
You will sail on a 26 foot-long J80 keel boat which is safe, dry and fun. There will be a qualified instructor and up to 3 other aspiring sailors onboard as you leave Howth harbour to explore the seas around Howth.
Your session will last for about 3 hours and will be a relaxing and enjoyable introduction to sailing. You might do some steering or manage the sails, working as a crew with your companions. Afterwards, you are welcome to enjoy a celebratory drink, and maybe something to eat, in Howth Yacht Club.
Your J80 is fitted with all relevant safety equipment. We will supply you with waterproofs and a lifejacket. You should dress warmly and wear non-slip shoes (without black soles, please). Bring a hat, sunglasses and suncream and a small bottle of water.
