A list of available local accommodation is posted here on the HYC website.
This updated list includes local hotels, guest houses and B&B’s. The Marine Hotel has confirmed an event rate, per night of  89 for a double B & B, 69 for a single B & B. Guests should book directly by telephone with Marine Hotel reservations (+353 1 816 8280).

HYC welcomes back
the BMW Cruiser Nationals |

Howth Yacht Club is delighted to welcome back the BMW Cruiser Nationals to Howth in 2012.
The Nationals will be held between May 25th and May 27th when we expect over 100 boats to compete for national honours in classes 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and non-spinnaker.
Prizes will be awarded under IRC and progressive echo. Details are contained in the Notice of Race which is now available for download. Online entry is open and a discounted entry of 125 is available until April 14th 2012.
Three race areas will be in use consisting of "round the cans", "windward-leeward" and "non-spinnaker" courses under the direction of race officers David Lovegrove, Derek Bothwell and Harry Gallagher.

Planning is well under way and the organising team is putting together a comprehensive entertainment programme to ensure competitors have three enjoyable days, on and off the water.
Marina berths are included in entry fee but a limited number of berths will also be available from May 19th. To secure a berth prior to the start of the Nationals, we ask owners to contact the HYC marina manager directly. A special discounted visitor's rate is available for yachts that may wish to stay in Howth between the Nationals and Cork Week.
