| Regulations for Marina Users - 20th November 2008 |
|
Section 1 - Regulations complimentary to and based on marina licence conditions. |
| 1. | Marina licences are issued to a single named voting member who must be the owner, or majority or equal shareholder of the vessel, which is specified in the licence. |
| 2. | A marina licence applies to a specific craft.
No member may berth a craft in the marina or its area unless authorised in writing by Club management. |
| 3. | All marina charges must be paid promptly as they fall due.
Failure to pay charges will result in withdrawal of all services and forfeiture of Marina Licence in accordance with conditions No.13 and No.23 of the Marina Licence Agreement. |
| 4. | Berthing an unauthorised vessel, newcomer or upgrade, will result in the member being obliged to remove the vessel from the marina. |
| 5. | Following an allocation of licensed berthing space, no increase of craft size will be allowed until a further 5 years have elapsed. |
| 6. | A marina licence does not apply to any particular berth. The Club has the right to change a vessel to a different berth at anytime. |
| 7. | Currently as a concession - a member of 5 or more years marina licence whose boat is absent from the marina may, for a maximum of three years, be allowed 50% reduction of the relevant marina charges. Notice must be given before Jan 31st of intention to avail of or terminate this facility, which will apply to complete years of absence only. |
| Section 2 - Regulations of general marina use |
| 1. | Craft must be securely and properly moored with adequate fendering, so as not to overhang the walkway. |
| 2. | Rigging noise is not permitted.
HYC staff are authorised and instructed to board boats when necessary to silence rigging, secure moorings, sails etc., or attend to problems as required. Repeated offences incur sanctions.

| 3. | Children may not enter the marina unsupervised and at all times must be in care of adults and are the responsibility of the host boat owner. Children must wear lifejackets on the marina. |
| 4. | Dogs must be on a lead at all times and exercised outside the Club grounds. Any fouling within the Club confines must be cleaned up immediately. |

| | a) | When in the area of the crane the health and safety regulations
must be observed and instructions of the marine manager and crane operators must be followed. |
| b) | Adequate crew personnel must be in attendance when lifting or launching. |
| c) | After use, the crane platform must be left clean by the user. |
| d) | Fouling must be hosed over the north edge of the platform, never on to the pontoon |

| 6. | All communications regarding marina matters are to be addressed solely to, and received from the marine manager. |
