I picked maps of the Dublin and Howth areas from various places on the web and
modded them to suit our needs.
The problem with maps is that they go out of date, so in terms of precise detail these maps
should not be considered as an absolute reference.
There are a number of websites with maps of the Dublin and Howth areas, such as this one
http://www.bing.com/maps (enter Howth in the search box)
I used this as the basis for some of the more detailed maps, but if you want the real thing
go to the above website.
Using these maps
Currently I only have two views for each map; fully zoomed-out and fully zoomed-in.
Later, I'll
add a zoom feature to enable you to increment the views in steps.
However, even when I do this, the intermediate views will not be as crisp and clear as in the final
fully zoomed image. This is because scaleable web maps are taken from an original scaleable master -
which I don't have.
