Preliminary programme which will be finalised nearer the event date

Sat. 7th Arrival of first boats and friends
 
Sun. 8th Welcoming ceremony in the Club

Visiting boats meet paired club families (It is hoped we can get club families to adopt a boat and help them during the week).

Evening: Traditional night or Variety night in the Club.
 
Mon. 9th Morning: Historical and familiarisation tour of Howth Village
followed by lunch in the Club

Afternoon: Guided walking trek over the Hill of Howth including Baily Lighthouse

Evening: Club entertainment
 
Tue. 10th Bus tour of Dublin including (a) Trinity College & the Whiskey Corner or
(b) Dublin Zoo

Evening: Club entertainment (Boat entertainment competition with FANTASTIC !!! prize)
 
Wed. 11th Possible Free Day
(Golf, Sail round Kish Lighthouse, Crewing in club racing) ?????
 
Thur 12th BBQ / Picnic on Irelands Eye

Evening: Club entertainment, traditional music and ceili
 
Fri. 13th Bus tour including Malahide Castle and Newgrange Megalithic Passage Tomb

Evening: End of Festival dinner and "novelty awards"
 
Sat 14th Boats will start leaving but we will invite those remaining to partake in Sunday's "Boat for Hope" for "Special Needs Children".
 
Sun. 15th "Boat for Hope" for "Special Needs Children" in conjunction with The Variety Club of Ireland. Dress theme will be "pirates". See 'Boat for Hope' in top menu.
There will be organised children's activities / entertainment throughout the week.
Fancy Dress, Tug-o-war, Rope throwing, Best dressed boat, etc competitions !!!!!!!
