It is my very great pleasure, again, on behalf of all of us here at Howth Yacht Club, to invite J24 sailors from around the world to compete in the BMW - sponsored 2013 World Championships in August 2013 at Howth, near Dublin , Ireland As the country's largest sailing club we have the experience and expertise necessary to stage major regattas. We have a proven track record in successfully hosting World Class Championships, and many of you may be already familiar with Howth following our very successful BMW European Championships in 2011 .... We are already well advanced with our preparations to ensure that J24 sailors from around the World can enjoy a top class event, in ideal sailing waters just a stone's throw from our Club House. Our facilities onshore are the envy of every other club in the country. You will also have to admit that the Irish also know a bit about having a party, and we can assure you of "One Hundred Thousand Welcomes". We sincerely hope that you will avail of the opportunity to travel to Ireland and enjoy what we have to offer, both on and off the water for sailors and non-sailing family and friends.
